Policies
To ensure the best experience for all of my clients, I require a minimum of 4 services when booking on a Saturday. This includes the bride and 3 additional services, which can be for the mother of the bride, mother of the groom, or bridesmaids.
If you’re a bride who prefers to book only for yourself, you have the option to pay the minimum service fee to secure your Saturday wedding date.

All special occasion appointments will take place at my studio in Ventura, CA.
When submitting your contact form for wedding services, please be sure to include the address of your getting ready location so I can provide an accurate quote for travel fees.
For international bookings, please reach out to Laura Zavala Makeup directly for specific rates.
As an independent artist, I can personally accommodate the bride plus 4 others in your bridal party (up to 5 people total). For bookings requiring more than 5 services, or if I’m unable to complete all services within the designated getting-ready time, I’ll bring a second artist to ensure everything runs smoothly. I can accommodate parties of up to 10 with the addition of an extra artist.
There is a one-time additional artist fee of $125, as well as any applicable travel fees. Rest assured, I work with a talented network of experienced makeup artists, and together, we’ll ensure that you and your bridal party are taken care of from start to finish!
For all special occasion makeup services, a $25 non-refundable retainer fee is required to secure your appointment. This fee is non-transferable.
For wedding makeup services, a retainer fee is required for each person in your bridal party who will be receiving services on the day of your wedding, in addition to a signed wedding makeup contract. This ensures that everyone’s spot is reserved and confirmed.
Please note, retainers are applied toward the total cost of your services, but are non-refundable and non-transferable.
For special occasion makeup services, if you cancel within 72 hours of your scheduled appointment or fail to show up, you will be invoiced for the full balance of your appointment.
For wedding makeup services, the bride is required to sign a contract agreeing that if wedding services are canceled within 60 days of the wedding date, the full balance for services booked will be due. Failure to comply with this agreement may result in legal action to recover the outstanding balance.
Please note that this policy helps ensure I can provide exceptional service to all clients, and I appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Please ensure that you are able to arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. I often have multiple clients booked in one day, and punctuality is essential to keep everything running smoothly.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, a late fee of $25 will be charged. If your tardiness prevents me from completing your appointment due to the need to stay on schedule for other clients, I will consider it a cancellation and you will be responsible for the full balance of your appointment.
